Jason Paine
Production Manager/ On-Air Personality
Jason is originally from Charleston, South Carolina. He moved here in 1994, and has been a part of Camden County, ever since. He enjoys all aspects on the entertainment side of things.
“I’ve been making little home movies since elementary school. I just love it!”
Jason has been filming, acting, and singing since his early childhood.
He is a graduate of Camden County High in the class of 2000. The on-stage acting bug bit him late in his academic career, but led him into The Camden Area Players not long after High School. From 2001 to 2004, you wouldn’t see Jason anywhere other than The CAP Playhouse.
He spent most of his nights in rehearsals for any stage production that was currently showing. Throughout his time in CAP, Jason got to do everything from and in between acting and directing. This allowed Jason a position as House Manager, and a spot as the youngest member on the Board of Directors for Camden Area Players, at the time.
It was through CAP, Jason made a connection with Chris Folsom, a man with a vision for starting a local cable network. The rest is history. After a couple of years of volunteering and learning the ropes, he joined Chris and TV Camden for the long haul.
In Jason’s spare time, he likes to visit with his father, Terry Paine, an accomplished musician in Charleston. “I love spending time with him and recording music together.”
Jason would like to thank his friends and family, especially his Mom, for being so supportive throughout all the years.
“I love what we’re doing here in Camden. I dig the Local, Positive, Informative motto we have going. If I can add a little bit of fun and humor in the mix, I’m set to go.”
